Health Safety Environment Quality Advisor (HSEQ)

The focus is on machines, vehicles and assembly systems that will become increasingly intelligent, autonomous and sustainable and will perform ever better. Using inspiring demonstrators and lab set-ups such as large and small machines, drones, robots, etc., specialised researchers show the results of their research. Our advanced, continuously expanding test infrastructure on 3 sites is made available to companies.

Continuous improvement in systems – follow-up of procedures

As an HSEQ expert or potential, you are responsible for advice on and the company-wide development and implementation of policies and procedures in the field of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.

Raising awareness and monitoring Safety are your top priorities. You can count on the cooperation of a safety team spread across our sites.

  • You give autonomous substance to this newly created position and lift the organisation of your topics to a higher level;
  • You set up a widely supported safety culture;
  • You work out the prevention policy and take on the role of internal prevention advisor;
  • You keep track of relevant laws and regulations and translate them into policies, procedures, guidelines and objectives;
  • You investigate reports of unsafe situations, accidents and incidents.

You also actively work on improving efficiency within the organisation.

  • You think along with the organisation and are a sparring partner for strategic, tactical and operational management;
  • You gather information and take the initiative for rolling out concrete actions;
  • You guide, involve and challenge all stakeholders (researchers, project leaders, department managers, board of directors);
  • You closely monitor the progress of all actions.


You have:

  • Solid general knowledge of the different HSEQ domains;
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in setting up, documenting and communicating procedures;
  • Experience with industrial safety;
  • A certificate of prevention adviser level II (or are willing to obtain it);
  • Maturity, diplomacy and motivation that engages others;
  • The ability to assess situations quickly and correctly;
  • Strong digital skills and fluent user knowledge of MS Office;
  • Interest in automation and smart IT solutions.
